Well here I am, writing on a blog. A little blog called Give me a Clue. I thought of this title due to a few reasons, the first one being that it is relevant to say that we are constantly looking for certain things in life and trying to guess and check while we are at it and doing our best to fill in the puzzle pieces. Having goals and dreams and planning for the future is normal and good yet we are only in the present moment and can only control what is in front of us now. Another reason for naming this blog Give me a Clue has to do with an Art History class I took. I learned about all different types of artists and various periods of art and influences. One such artist who's painting struck me as interesting and different was Jackson Pollock. His paintings are made from dripping paint off of an art utensil and letting it fall onto the big white sheet of paper. Pollock's paintings are about his subconscious and when learning about his paintings. I often wondered give me a clue about what this is about! In fact the picture above with the blog title is by Jackson Pollock.
I want this blog to be focused on style, art and life. Although these are pretty general terms, it can be easier to become more creative and make them more interesting and inspiring than they already are. That is my goal for this blog...to make Give me a Clue blog something inspiring, interesting and creative. Will you join me?
