Classics

Sometimes I wonder why a classic book is considered a 'classic'. Though I'm an English major, I find  books that I should read are actually hard to get into unfortunately. I have an interesting relationship with books. I can abandon one by the 2nd chapter if I don't feel it and find another book, which for me isn't hard to do. I've heard of plenty of book titles and most of them have been considered a 'classic' but for some reason I haven't had the desire or motivation (yet) to pick some of them up and start reading.

Well, actually that's not true. As of now I'm reading Jane Eyre and I admit that I like it and it's good but it took me a while to say that considering that I'm on Chapter 12. What helped me keep with it this far mostly was watching the movie first, which makes it a lot easier to understand and I've also heard that's it's worth reading.

However, while reading Jane Eyre I also need to be reading other books at the same time. I'm currently reading like at least 3 other books because that's what keeps me interested and I'm either finding books at the library or in my house that I want to dig into as well. I know that I'll finish at least one of them!  I guess I should prepare myself for when school hits again and it's time to crack the books again and to ditch the fun books and focus on the required material.

My goal is to finish at least 4 books this Summer. I know that's not that many but as a scattered book worm such as myself, it is. But I think it's a good challenge and I believe I can do it!

Big Rings

Something about rings but in particular big statement rings attract me. I guess you could say that my style is mainly boho and that explains why I cling to big rings, scarves and headbands. The only issue with some rings, these in particular is the fact that my fingers turn green every time I wear them but then eventually fade away once I take them off.



Rings bring about a new vibe and taste to style that other jewelry doesn't. It makes it more exciting to do ordinary things like writing or typing on a computer and can dress up any outfit. It's so hard not to notice big rings that it's practically guaranteed that you will get a compliment.
